A Real Indy Film Festival

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is expected to get it’s world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

The event will take place between May 14th-25th.

The movie will get its worldwide cinema release on May 22nd.

According to reports, Steven Spielberg is in talks with the festivals organizers to set up something like last year’s Oceans Thirteen premiere which was a hugely glitzy event.

Other films to have made their headline-grabbing debut at the French film event include The Da Vinci Code – although that was met with scathing reviews from critics.

Fingers crossed this will fair far better.
