I’ve loved radio almost as long as I’ve loved food!! My first job was in York when I was 12 years old presenting the kids "What’s On" diary!

I haven’t really got any better since then, it's just that my voice has deepened at little! Throughout University, (a degree in Politics at Newcastle University since you ask!), I also worked at various radio stations presenting all sorts of shifts until I got my first ‘proper’ job at a station in Manchester.

Through begging and generallly making a nuisance of myself I managed to get the breakfast show and then realised that's where you have the most fun. Since then I’ve presenting breakfast shows in in various parts of the region, and now all across the Midlands on Heart, where I’ve been for 5 years… 5 years, blimey, I didn’t realise I’ve been here so long! That’s probably why I look about 10 years older than I actually am!
