This week, I spent the day in our capital city to have a cheeky day out and meet a few people in the Teddington area of the city.

As I needed to be there at 9:30 on a Thursday morning I decided to go down on Wednesday night and stay in a hotel. And I found the most amazing hotel to stay in. SO good, in fact, I thought I would write about it as its worth remembering next time you head down south.

If you’ve never been to the Teddington area of London before, it’s very similar to the neighbouring Richmond area where each house seems to cost about 4 billion pounds. But the good thing is, as far as hotels go, as this one was not in central London it was a good price.

It’s called the Park Hotel. And just look at it. I had to take some photos to show you as, for a 3 star hotel, it looked really sexy:

Not bad for a 3 star hotel, ey?

Sorry that my pictures are a little blurry but they did have a rather large wine list and I sampled some of it before taking these photos!

I had crispy noodles and scallops for dinner in here. Very posh…

If you’re heading to London, maybe to watch Wimbledon or off to see a family show, I recommend staying here as it’s pretty close to the rail links as well. Plus there’s parking and you don’t end up in the congestion zone either.
