Due to the popularity of the junior fishing club we hold in south Birmingham. The council have approached us to start a junior fishing club in North Birmingham. This will be held every Wednesday evening, from 4.30pm - 6.30pm. At Pype Hayes park in Erdington, Starting 2nd April 2008. All fishing tackle can be supplied for these sessions. It is intended to cater for the under 16s, who would like to try or improve their fishing skills.

Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Orchestra with Mike Gibbs - 07:30PM 04/04/2008

The Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Orchestra will be going on a small UK tour in April 2008. For the tour, they have managed to employ the services of the prolific jazz composer, Mike Gibbs, who has agreed to conduct the band as they play some of his music from his critically acclaimed tour of October 2007.

A Wild Night Out - 12:00AM 05/04/2008

The evening starts with a special screening of “Waterlands”, a new film narrated by Tom Conti. This film captures the majesty of some of the UK's most awe-inspiring wildlife spectacles. Alongside magnificent sequences of winter flocks of wading birds, waterfowl and roosting starlings there is intimate footage of some of Britain’s most threatened wetlands birds.
