Charity zipslide across the pitch of St Andrews. Participants will zip across the stadium at speeds of up to 30mph! All proceeds will benefit the Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. A national charity working to support all those affected by this genetically inherited muscle wasting condition.

The BBL Finals Weekend is the culmination of the British Basketball League Championship season, and the pinnacle of many a player’s careers. After a 33-game season, the top eight teams in the country progress to the BBL Championship Playoff quarter-finals. Those that are successful make it to the NIA for Saturday 3 May’s semi-finals, with the winning teams progressing to Sunday’s season finale and the contest that will crown the 2007/08 BBL Playoff Champions.

Tea at Three is a simple and fun way to raise money for Birmingham St Mary's Hospice and will take place on 16th May, but feel free to host your event anytime throughout May or June. You can hold a Tea @ 3 event at home, at work at school, or with your local church or group, and it can be as small or big as you want- from inviting friends round for a cuppa to holding a Mad hatters tea party! Your break can make a difference! A break can be very precious, and your fundraising helps us do just that. Our Day Hospice cares for up to 20 patients a day, providing help, advice and peer support, as well as access to all our services. At the same time, it provides a break for the families and carers; an opportunity to do the shopping, to get their hair done, or just have a cup of tea, safe in the knowledge that we are there to help. A Solo Art exhibition that runs for two weeks until 31.05.08. Open everyday day from 10.00 to 16.30. Local artist Phil Dakin is holding a solo exhibition of his collection of paintings. The paintings are varied from Icons such as THe Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Munroe to wildlife and abstract. There is a childrens art area where children can add to a never ending picture based on "Things that make me happy". The first visitor through the door can choose from a collection of signed limited edition prints. This exhibition is for the people of Nottingham to come and enjoy.
