What's it about? Upon moving to the Spiderwick Estate the Grace children find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of faeries and other creatures.
What type of film is it? Action Adventure Fantasy
Is it any good? It’s superb. You’d think a fantasy adventure based on a children’s book all about goblins and magic wouldn’t have much to offer the adult audience, but think again. Although it’s fundamentally a family film there is more than enough action and edge-of-your-seat thrills to have you glued to the screen. It’s great to see cameo performances from Nick Nolte and Andrew McCarthey as well as some impressive visual effects. Quite brilliant.
