Madonna World Tour Details

Madonna will be kicking off her world tour in the UK.

The 49-year-old is to play Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on August 23.

She will also play at Wembley Stadium on September 11 after concerts in Nice, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Rome and Frankfurt as part of her Sticky and Sweet tour.

Tickets will go on sale for Madonna's two UK gigs on May 16 and will start at £55 for Cardiff and £65 for Wembley.

The best seats for Cardiff will cost £150 and for Wembley £160.

Madonna's last outing, 2006's acclaimed Confessions Tour played in 25 countries including Moscow and reached a collective audience of over 1.3 million fans and was the highest grossing concert tour of all time by a female artist.
