Expecting Kerry Lights Up

Kerry Katona smokes every day despite being four months pregnant, she has admitted.

The former Atomic Kitten has also carried on drinking.

She’s told Star magazine: "I was smoking 20 a day before I was pregnant and I've cut down to one. In the morning, I like a little puff on a fag."

She said of those who criticise her for continuing to smoke in defiance of medical guidelines: "Yeah, they're dead b****y right. But I honestly don't think a couple of puffs are going to do that much damage.”

"I had a nicotine patch but it left a mark. I think I've done really well cutting down from 20 to one a day. I think the only times I really smoke is when I've had a drink."

The 27-year-old, who had a miscarriage scare early in her pregnancy, was recently photographed dragging on a cigarette outside a pub in Warrington, Cheshire.

It was reported that she downed four Martinis and a vodka during the same night out with friends.

But she insisted: "It's nonsense. I did have a drink - I had two."

The former I'm A Celebrity winner is currently battling ex-husband Brian McFadden for custody of their two daughters, Molly and Lilly Sue.

She is expecting her new baby with second husband Mark Croft.
