Indiana Jones and Spartacus have started their holiday seasons in the US by serving hot meals to the homeless.
Actors Harrison Ford and Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas entered into the Thanksgiving spirit in Los Angeles on Wednesday by rolling up their sleeves for charity.
Wearing red aprons and plastic gloves, the pair stood alongside volunteers at the annual feast at downtown' Mission giving out turkey drumsticks, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, vegetables and pumpkin pie.
Actresses Nia Long and Harrison’s other half, Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart, were also on hand to help out.
They and the other volunteers dished up 3,000 meals.
