Despite a flurry of engagement rumours last weekend, Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have called it quits.

The split has come less than two months after the couple rekindled their romance in Miami.

An insider close to Owen has been quoted as saying: "It was a pretty bad breakup."

"Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."
