Amy Winehouse has been released on police bail after officers questioned her in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice.
The troubled 24-year-old was arrested yesterday when she went to a police station in east London.
She was not charged but has to return to the station in early March pending further inquiries.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "A 24-year-old woman has been bailed to return to an east London police station on a date in early March pending further inquiries."
She was earlier arrested "by appointment" in connection with an investigation into perverting the course of justice.
A spokesman for Amy said: "She attended a police station voluntarily and at a pre-agreed time.”
"She was arrested but that is common practice for someone being interviewed by police.”
"There have been no charges and she has been released."
Amy's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently remanded in custody on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice in relation to an assault case.
